Our Stories

Libby’s Story

For years I felt filled with shame - as though I didn’t measure up, didn’t deserve to be seen or to even be here. To say I was lacking in self-esteem was an understatement. This low opinion of myself was shaped by an often-emotionally abusive childhood.

Then came a life-changing event. In 1999, I was diagnosed with leukemia, specifically, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), which can be a fairly benign version of Leukemia. That’s when I decided to do what I could to heal myself. Shortly after my diagnosis, I stumbled upon the Yuen Method of energy work and took training in it and then trained in EFT, SimplyALIGN™ and other methods - appreciating each modality and how they all work together well.

More than 20 years later, my white blood cell count is nearly normal - without my ever having had treatment.

My doctor said, with some astonishment, at a recent check-up, “Maybe you have healed yourself.”

Regular energy clearing on myself, as well as daily meditation and the grace of the Divine - and yes, a bit of luck - have all helped me to get to this point.

And my shame and low self-esteem? Energy work has made a huge difference there, too. I still take time to clear myself energetically every day.

I am so grateful for my health that I want to uplift others. And nowadays, it is my energy-work practice that allows me to do this.

Bob’s Story

In the late 1990’s, I developed disabling arthritis in my hips (too many falls from horses back in the day!). I sought help from many kinds of doctors and practitioners, while taking a lot of anti-inflammatory NSAIDS —all to no avail. Finally, the pain became too intense. I was terrified, but knew what I had to do: Have a bilateral hip replacement (surgery to install two new hips at the same time).

Incredibly, the surgery gave me a new life! I am thankful for the healing and for the team of doctors, nurses, and physical therapists who helped me recover.

So I decided to pay it forward by leaving behind a career as a finish carpenter and training to become a licensed massage therapist—as well as a teacher of therapeutic massage. And I have never looked back!
